How We Are Funded
More than 90% of our funding comes from individuals like you and a few wonderful corporations.
Every family staying at the RMHD is asked to pay a $15 per night contribution. This includes as many as 5 people in a room, three meals a day for each person, transportation to and from their hospital and many more family services. The reality is that many families staying here can’t pay anything. It is our policy to never turn away a family due to their inability to contribute.
To cover our additional operating costs, the RMHD is operated with funds raised through individual and corporate donors, community organizations, and special fundraising events. While we are very fortunate to have the support of the McDonald's Corporation, more than 90% of our funding comes from individuals like you and a few wonderful corporations who are the life-line of our organization. We thank you for your continued support. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
