Since opening our doors in 1981, the RMHD has served over 28,000 families.
In 2010, we served 2055 families totalling 11,874 nightly visits. Our families stay an average of 6 nights. Because of the increased size of our new house, we were able to served twice the number of families as in 2009.
Our families come from all over the world to the Dallas area because of the strength our hospitals and the treatment their children will receive. The following charts show where our families come from, which hospital their child is receiving treatment at and what type of treatment their child received.
